Legal Questions : Attaining Visitation Rights for Noncustodial Parents

You have recently been notified that your other spouse is going to be seeking a divorce and the two of you have agreed that there’re are going to be the primary custodial parent and you don’t know what you going to do about obtaining visitation rights.

Hello! I’m Robert Tad and I’m here to answer the question about how to attain visitation rights. Well, the first thing that you want to consider is that each state has its own laws with respect to child custody, child parenting, and visitation. So you want to be sure that you have some idea of what your states laws are with regard to visitation and the laws do vary from state to state. But generally speaking when the parents can agree on the visitation schedule, the court will adhere to that schedule.

On the other hand, if the primary custodial parent doesn’t wish to grant you visitation rights, you may seriously wish to consider seeking the services of a family law or a lawyer who deals with visitation rights. I’m Robert Tad and thank you for watching.
