Today we're gonna learn how to know what games can work on your computer before you buy them. If you're into playing computer games and often you'll be afraid of making a purchase for some game that actually won’t be able to play because your computer isn't new or powerful enough. So, it’s always good to make sure that the game will be able to run to your computer before you purchased it. Otherwise, you could be wasting $60. Using this way to figure out if the game will work on your computer is to go to www.systemrequirementslab.com/reffere/srtest which stands for System Requirement Test. Once you are in this website, you can select any game from this drop down menu, for example, Grand Theft Auto. And then simply click on the "can you run" icon. This will bring you top a page where will invite you to download a very small program which will basically analyze your computer and check if you have the correct system requirements to run the game or not.

So, to confirm that you want to run on the application, simply click on the little Run button on the far right corner of the pop-ups. Now, we'll start downloading this little tool and once it’s done downloading, it will start analyzing your computer. Then there's also a test that will display in your browser. Now, the second way to check system requirement to see if the games will work on your computer is to do this manually. Now, this is also quite easy to do. All you have to do is go to the Start Menu, then to the Control Panel and then from the Control Panel, simply double-click on the System Icon. Here in the first tab that appears, you'll be able to see: first of all how much RAM you have.

Now, another important thing to check is your Graphics Card, to do this, simply go to the Hardware Tab and then click on Device Manager. From the Device manager windows open, find the Display Adapters. Here, after clicking on the little Plus sign left of it, two little things will unfold and we'll be able to see what graphic is here. We have here NVDIA GeForce 4000. Now, that we figure out what graphics card is, how much RAM or Virtual Memory we have, an what are processor is and the last thing you need to check is how much space drive space we have. Do to this you can simply go to My Computer, once you open My Computer, for example, Local disk C, and then right-click on it and click on Properties from the fold out menu. Here you will be able to see how much use space we have and how much free space we have, so, 5.9 gigabytes.

Now, that we have this four things written down, what we have to do is to on an Internet to www.PCgamerequirements.com or we'll be able to manually check the requirements fro a specific games. To find the game you want, just go to the right-hand of the screen and here click on the Game Requirement Full Index or a certain letter set for the game you want. For example for searching for the Grand Theft Auto, you can check F to M; here we have the system requirements for the game as well as the Recommended Requirements. The minimum requirement for what you'll need to be able to run game at a very low level, meaning that the graphics won’t be the best looking and the game might be luggable, meaning, your character might move around a jumpy way instead of solid motion. So, if you really want to have an enjoyable playing experience, you basically want the Recommended Requirements.
