Hairstyling Ideas & Treatments : How to Wash Out Semi-Permanent Hair Color
Hi I’m Emilia and I’m here to talk to you about how to wash out semi-permanent hair color. Semi-permanent hair color is really going to stay in about a month anyway. So from day 1 after you get it the next time you shampoo some of the color is going to washed down the drain. If your really trying to get rid of it don’t use a color state shampoo, use maybe a clarifying hair shampoo again that could dry your hair out a little bit so your going to want to be a little bit more gentler with or a little bit get a better quality conditioner. Your semi-permanent colors are not going to stay in your hair they also not going to lighten your hair. So one advantage of semi-permanent color is that you won’t get that stated kinda brassy look once it washes out, you’re basically left with what your natural color was. Then again, if you’re really desperate you could try something like dawn dish soap or any type of dish soap. Its got a lot of really harsh surfactants in it that will clean out and kinda open up be cuticle a little bit get in there and take out a lot more semi-permanent color. I don’t recommend using a color corrector because its going to be a little bit to harsh on the semi-permanent and really if you’re just patient, that semi-permanent color will probably washout within a month or two.
