Exercise & Fitness Tips : What Muscles Do Push-Ups Work?
So, what muscles do push ups build? There’s a couple of styles of push ups, if I have my hands in nearer on my shoulders, and I keep my elbows into my sides, I’m really working more of my tricep muscles. If however, I keep my hands wider than shoulder with the part, and when I go down my elbows are out more, I’m going to be working more muscles in my chest and my shoulders. So if you want to get the most out of push ups, and upper body strength training, you can do narrow group push ups as well as push ups with a wider grip.
